This is just a fun easy cache if you want to drive through the beautiful Utah Mtns.

Throughout the mountains of Southern Utah the trees tell a story of the history of the area. Carved into the bark are
names and dates from those who passed through the area. Some are scores of decades old. Some tell just a little
more.

Someone with the initials “L C” left their mark on one tree. “L C” noted the year and the snow depth.
To claim this virtual cache you need to find this tree and take note of the year and snow depth. Then e-mail me with the year and depth. Also, go ahead and log your find on this page, but DON'T REVEAL THE ANSWERS! The tree is close to the side of Sugar Loaf Road and is easy to spot. It is at an elevation of about 9225’.
