Is it just me, or does this old school Navicache hide have different adoptive owners on this website and geocaching.com?? Oh well, found quite easily in the winter, took a TB from the geocaching.com side, removed some geotrash from the cache. Thanks for the cache.

The "Dead Fish" TB (Travel Bug) hitchiked with me across the country to the Mecca of Caching, Original Stash Tribute Plaque

Revisited here to find a TB (Travel Bug) that was only posted on the other caching site. Ironically, the "Dead Fish" started its hitchiking journey with a WheresGeorge acquaintance.

LN (Left Nothing) as the mosquitoes were relentless.

As the recent finder of this NaviCache, I adopted to do a little maintenance: removed all the twigs & bark from inside the box, looked for the missing half of the Hulk Hogan figurene and "Where's Otis" TravelBug dog left by GregP100 on 15 NOV. This area is a popular "party spot" and maybe the cache is being looted.

**UPDATE**
Never mind, this happens when cache originators post on both NaviCache.com and GeoCaching.com, but finders only post on one of them. We end up with a jagged, difficult to follow, sequence of events, i.e. one has to go to GeoCaching.com to learn that this cache was also found on 25 DEC (not that the finders declared what they left or that they took the "Where's Otis" TravelBug).

Artimes joined me on the hunt as did mutual friend "T-Bone" who lives 400m down the lane. We met Buck who owns the house with the Sicilian donkeys & giant bell from the old Bausch & Lomb tower (next to the cache). Buck indicates the cache is on private property, owned by the man from whom he bought his house.

As the recent adoptive owner of this cache I wanted to start the year off right by doing a little maintenance.

Thanks again to Upinyachit for originally placing this cache and remembering to make provisions for keeping it up after their move.

Found it about 4:30 PM. Can't do much late afternoon caching unless I get a big flashlight and a heavier coat. TB "ZEKE" is listed at this sight (Geochache) but I did not find him.

I brought along "Where's Otis" Tracker dog TB and left it. Two days to Hunting season and a mama doe was standing less than 50 yards watching me. I hope she makes it to tell about the cacher she met today.

Looks like "ZEKE" TB is missing in action and I can't note it to the Geochache TB log cause I ain't got his number......

Hope someone sees this and gets him going again.

Our second find of the day. A good walk by the canal - easy enough for the 2 yr old until we got into the bush (would've lost him, but we put him in the backpack). Our 8 yr old found the cache after a little searching and a hint from mom. We took two items and left two. Thanks for contributing to our great day.

This was actually my first find ever. I used Boozers 310 way back when before I found him and bought my Sportrack.

I was waiting to re visit it with my daughter but I was cleaning out my pack and found the pages from the Dog Chow Cache log I picked up and dried way back when. I had planned on dropping them off in one of your caches and happened to be in the park fishing tonight. I just got back(it's 2 am now).

I dropped off the Dog Chow pages and took nothing.

Came for the express purpose of picking up the Lilliputian Yellow Travel Bug, it was not in the cache. Someone had logged the cache just before me today, but it didnt look like they had taken it. Ah well, enjoyed the short walk and the hiding place where the cache was, was very clever. Thanks for the hide.

After replacing the container from cache jubilee with an ammo box, I checked on this cache to see how it was doing.
Everything is just fine and I enjoyed reading the log book.

Found it at 2:55 pm. Dropped off travel bug Tommy. Nice location, liked the added touch.

Number Three for the day, not far from my last stop. I had to laugh when I saw the park's name - explained my reasons in the log. I almost turned around and left! :)
The cache is still being Protected. No problem finding it. There's a squeaky tree nearby that spooked me a little, but aside from that no creepy-crawlies. Too bad, really. I like 'em.

Another great area we had no idea was there! An easy, quick find, but could see how it could be difficult if approached wrong. The cache was well hidden and in good condition, clean and dry, but the contents seem pretty depleted compared to what the log indicated has been swapped in and out since July; mostly just plastic toys remaining. Left a couple of Matchbox trucks, took a mini-screwdriver set; wish I'd brought some "adult" items to swap.

Sometimes it pays to not be able to follow instructions. I nearly drove right to the cache box only thing that stopped me was the barbed wire.

Dropped off the '37 Bugatti it has traveled over 4000k miles to the ocean and now back to SD. Help her move quickly west.

Nice spot, upinyachit. Great little park.A real popular spot on a sunny Friday during a holiday weekend. Started heading into the wrong area, but regrouped before I wasted too much time. No real problem getting to the cache spot & the cache was well concealed. Cache in great shape & loaded with goodies.Took a travel bug to move along to another cache, & left waterproof matches in brass container. Left my mark in the log book & replaced the cache as I found it. Thanks for the adventure.
