Comments:
After finding the cache, be sure to check out the 229 year old tree nearby. A plaque was erected in 1976 commemorating its bicentennial. It reads as follows:
"The International Society of Arboriculture and the National Arborist Association jointly recognize this significant tree in this bicentennial year as having lived here during the American Revolutionary Period"

The cache is located in Clinton Park in the City of Tonawanda. It's a very small park, featuring a gazebo, bocce ball courts, and a few park benches. The park closes at dusk and no doggies allowed. :(

The cache shouldn't be too hard to find. This is my first hide, and I thought I'd start off with an easy one. Plenty of on-street parking is available around the park.

Thanks for visiting my cache!

Glad to finally get this one. Took a little longer than expected, but still a nice find. Cool looking Gazebo in the park, too. Thanks Rayman.

2 for 2 on Rayman caches today...when we got to the park there was a HUGE squirrel standing gaurd of the tree I was after...I didn't really want to push my luck with the lil' guy (as anyone who has seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation will understand), but was able eventually to get him to scurry up the tree...and in the process I was able to find the cache.

Sweet, thanks Rayman!

Mooohahahahaha! Another day, another FTF. I logged into Navicache to submit a Downtown Buffalo Virtual that I threw together during downtime at the 2005 Gus Macker tourney, and what do I see but Rayman77's first cache! Well, screw that, the virtual submission can wait; I was out the door 20 seconds later. Nice first hide, should be safe from muggling, coords are so dead nuts on, it's not even funny. Thanks for the cache.
