| The cache location is Southeast of the City of Rochester, in an area that requires special equipment to reach the cache.Hence the 5.0 terrain rating. The cache contains the usual log book & some small items for trade. Being a .30 cal. ammo can, not a lot of room for big stuff, so keep that in mind when heading out. Check the weather before going after it, & access to the cache in winter months is very unlikely. Take the proper precautions if bringing the kids along. Open Log: Personal use only Second one of the day by kayak. This makes my 74th find. Just left this spot and three kayaks went by. Slipped a little getting back in when I heard voices...didn't want to give up the location. Great day and a wonderful way to spend a sunny sunday afternnon. thanks.

Open Log: Personal use only We did it! Issaquah Puppy and were the first to reach the cache without a kayak, or canoe! We did it completly on land! I didn't even get my feet wet! I thought it was possible, and took a couple attempts, but we did it! Lets see if anyone else is hardcore enough to do it!!!! :)

What do you call an unintentional spoiler when you are out on the hunt and the cache is in the process of being cached?....late I guess. Well we were late today, there was a floatila of canoes at the prefered location upon our arrival so we paddled on and waited. It is a nice little float trip which we do every year in early spring. Suggestion to those to come later, put in at the new park on the bay side of Empire Blvd. paddle back up to Browncroft Rd. then portage to the old Glendiver Rest.(sp?) on Old Browncroft Rd.(just to your East)put back in at that location and paddle to Empire.

Perfect day for Geocaching and what better way to spend it than to go after one of the Gimpsters. We (Morgan,Linda,Debbie,Glen and Caron and I) all headed out in the morning to see if we could bag this one. A great job of placing it and tons of fun was had by us all!

I went after it on foot like I did Surf & Turf. I wanted to be the first to find the cache, and the first to make it to the cache on foot, but didn't accomplish either. I got to under 50 feet of the cache, but couldn't get to it. I was going by the topo, but I wish I had looked at the sat view. I may try on foot again, but from a different direction. Congrats Rippie! My arms seem to be breaking out from something or other. Oh well!
