Arboretum is open from dusk to dark. Pets must be leashed and droppings picked up (trash cans are provided). Park is handicapped accessible--I can't guarantee that the cache is accessible to all.

The Arbustum Cache is camoflaged ammo can (10x7x3.5) with GEOCACHING painted on the sides. It contains the orginal logbook but all new trade items. Beware of the poison ivy.

Leashed pets are welcome; please pick up any droppings. Trash receptacles are provided.

A huge "Thank you!" to the management of the Arboretum, who gave permission for me to place this cache.

Well, was not as easy as I thought. That darned purple wintercreeper! I couldn't have found it if it were a .50 cal ammo box painted neon orange! lol. anyhoo was near dark and got tired of playing botany student. will try again another day

It's great to see such a protected area actually get approved for a cache.

My ears however didn't care, as soon as a helicopter flew into the hospital about 50 feet above my head, probably just over the tree tops.

Took the live spider and let him free
Left a pest-free cache

Hints great...found GPSless...2nd cache ever. This is why we forgot the potatoes and got in a little lukewarm water. Time does fly when you're having a GREAT time!!!
