Due to extensive forests and leaves readings can be tricky at times.

There is a parking area at the visitor center(39 30.732N/079 17.912W) where you can access a trail to take you to the beginning of Meadow Mt. Trails(39 30.808N/079 17.904W). The Indian Tulip trail may be entered near the register box. The cache is a small camoulflaged container with a log, pencil and exchange trinkets. The trail continues beyond the cache for those interested. If you make it to the ridge and continue toward the communication and fire towers you will cross a lengthy logging road? made of squared timbers.

Finally had time to do some local caches, Nice trails, never been in this park before. Parked closer than suggested, found easily.

I'd been to the lake before but never knew there was such a trail system. This was an enjoyable trek on a well maintained trail.

There was some signal bounce in the area. I just let my Vista settle while waiting for some other hikers to pass and found it readily. There is no need for a scorched earth search here. The co-ords are spot on.

The cache is in good shape and contains some interesting items. However, I just did the log thing.

Thanks for the cache and for introducing me to the area trails.
