Comments:
The road has some deep waterbars in the first mile, but a vehicle with good ground clearance has no trouble. Four wheel drive not necessary. Don't climb on the building due to its state of disrepair.

The cache is placed at Flattop Lookout. This building was intended as a prototype, with its control-tower style slanted windows. Before the trees grew up around it, there was a commanding view of Mt. Adams to the north. Now, you must find a spot along the ridge to get a view. The road is blocked by a large log just .2 mile from the lookout, so park at the wide switchback .37 miles from the waypoint.
When the lookout was in use, the occupant had to walk to the west end of Flattop Mt to see areas to the west.
