This is a music-themed cache that contains locally recorded concerts.
This cache is contained in an ammo box. The initial cache contains concert recordings of local performances by Gov't Mule, Mountain of Venus, A Perfect Circle, Ratdog, Guster, Warren Haynes, and Los Lobos. All recordings are in FLAC or SHN formats. These are lossless formats used for trading live recordings. You must decode the discs on a computer before you can burn playable CDs. If you don't already have software to do this it is available for free online. This cahe is music-themed so please keep that in mind. Ideally I'd like it to remain a local concert recording cache. If you have no concert recordings to leave then please leave something that sticks to the music theme-be creative. This isn't really one for the kiddies. One important thing-These recordings are not burned copies of commercially released CDs. Please DO NOT leave burned copies of commercially released music in the cache. Original copies of commercially released CDs are okay but no copies. Ideally, I'd like concert recordings from bands that allow show recordings by fans to populate the cache. You can park at the end of Ferry Road in Clifton Park. The Visher- Fisher cache is nearby if you want to do it as well. This cache takes one trail, the Visher-Fisher takes the other. The cache is about .80 miles from the parking area and all but the last 50 yards or so is on a level dirt road. There is a log book in the cache as well. Enjoy the cache and try a band you aren't a fan of-discover some cool new music. |
