This cache is brought to you compliments of StickMonkey, as this is a "baby" or "seed" cache, spawned from his cache Multiplicity, in beautiful Clarence, N.Y. (Only listed on geocaching.com).
I figured it was time to get back to basics in these here parts, so the cache is a healthy 1.1 mile round trip from the recommended parking coords: N43 Deg. 05.899' W078 Deg. 47.076' on Meyer Road. The cache is located in Pendleton, N.Y. just off a defunct extension of the Erie-Lackawanna railroad, that once ran from North Tonawanda to Lockport. Part of this line still exists, running the length of Erie Avenue in N.T., but it abruptly ends just across Niagara Falls Boulevard in Wheatfield at a grain mill. I have no future plans for this in-progress rails to trails project, that runs 2+ miles in both directions from Pendleton Town Park (note the trail is paved from the Park to the parking coords). So if anyone feels inclined to place other caches, go for it. |

A wonderful day for a hike... found the cache with no problem. I found the cache in it's hiding place upside-down, and it had a lot of water inside. I emptied out the water and cleared the Urkle-flage from the lid threads and put it back right-side up. Hopefully the water will stay out now. Everything inside was OK. The stuff inside the ziplock bags was dry and the items not in bags were such that the water wouldn't effect them anyway. This was a really nice hide. I wished I had waited for snow and done this hunt with snowshoes - it would have been perfect!

Open Log: Personal use only A rather pleasant long walk to the point of entry into bushwhack territory. No flying bugs, but LOTS of jumping ones around. Naturally I didn't take the easy way in, but found the easier way out. TFTC.

Open Log: Personal use only Well we've been thinking about keeping up with multiplicity placements and have collected all but #6 to date. Amazingly nothing eventful happened to us on this cache. We parked, we hiked, we found the cache. I'm sure Woodie grabbed something, I think it was a string of beads and thik we left behind a rubber bracelet and flashlight. Thanks

Naw Yardboy, White Kong doesn't hate on anyone! As a matter of fact, I have an idea for a Navicache in your honor that I hope to place this summer! As far as the list, you can make it simple by just looking at caches that were not placed by Yourself, Caron, Quinn or the D&C newspaper reporter.

Open Log: Personal use only No offense Yardboy, but since the last time you were in town, I think you missed about 100+ caches "double listed" by the likes of Junglehair, Ourwoods, Chilehead and Chemist Kahuna etc.... Unless you just particulary hate this listing because it contains a hyperlink to a geocaching.com cache?
