Aye, what a beautiful day for caching. I particularly liked this cache, well, because of my Scottish heritage. Found the first stage very quickly. Then, moved on to the second stage. Coords had me on the wrong side of the road, but when I checked the other side, I found it fairly easily. TNLNSL.
BTW, I am directly descended from at least two known participants in the Battle of Culloden. William Lawson (my G-G-G-G-G-G Grandfather) and his father fought for Bonnie Prince Charlie. William's father died in the battle and William was caught and soon shipped to the Americas as an indentured servant. He soon worked off his service and moved to Scott Co., VA. Many years later he fought at the Battle of King's Mountain as a Sergeant against the British. His grandson, James Lawson moved to now present day Elliott County, KY and is buried in a small forgotten cemetery on a farm there.
