Geocaching was invented almost 5 years before the date of this placement, so I figured it was high time the beautiful City of Lackawanna, N.Y. got it's first geocache.

Lackawanna's first geocache is a semi-lame urban micro, but it's no park and grab, as you'll have to take a scenic .16 mile stroll (one way) from the parking coordinates.

Park at N 42 Deg. 49.579' W078 Deg. 50.021', which is a parking lot at a municipal baseball diamond. You can also access South Park (which is in the City of Buffalo) from this parking lot.

The cache is in the vicinity of several live railroad tracks, but it should be pretty obvious when you get there that you won't need to go near them. Despite it's urban location, you should really have no trouble at all with muggles. But please use discretion when retrieving and replacing the cache anyways.

This micro cache contains no writing utensil, you must bring your own.

Wow, I'm first to log on this site this year? Apparently all the regulars have found it. I think you kinda told me an unsolicited big hint for this one last year, making this one an easy find. Thanks Urk.

My GPS numbers were a little off. Took some time to find this one - so many places to check.
