This cache is at Eastwood Park. The park's land steward was easy to work with, but she aks that you follow the park rules and stay on the trails. If the rivers are at flood stage you might not be able to reach it. Be carefull, there is a big drop off when you reach the cache. There is some steep terain so this might not be a "for everyone" cache.

Located & Logged today w/ buddy TooManyCooks and introducing another buddy to the wonders of GeoCaching.
A lot easier trek to find the Cache than I was expecting, but still some nice terrain I haven't seen since I was a kid (O.K. I'm still a kid, so about 22 to 27 years ago).

Whoever left the ugly orange tie gave me the greatest idea ever to get rid of some of those horrible Father's Day gifts.

I owe thanks to my wife for bringing the spare set of keys since I locked myself out of my car like an idiot with keys still in ignition. A park ranger came up to me telling me to move my car but I smirked because my wife was right behind him with my keys. One month after my first attempt - with more caching experience behind me and also the right coordinates this time I got this one. TFTC. Its a pretty good hide. T-N. L-Redbird Beenie Baby.

3/30/07: DNF today. I blame the trees...yeah that's it...the trees for messing with my GPS. I got dirty going up and down the steep slope to and from the water bushwacking through the trees with no luck. Instead I found a pile of poop. I'll have to try again especially since I now know what the contrainer looks like from the other posts.

Found it pretty easily after a long walk around the ponds. And a few wrong turns. And a short climb. Or two. We had a great time, thank you.
