You are looking for a black ammo box full of goodies. If you start bushwacking, you know you are going about it the wrong way. Coyote walked right to the location.
This is a lovely walking trail off Broadmoor Trail off Rt.31 in Perinton. Park opposite 71 Broadmoor Trail at n 43 04.287, W 077 24.095 This is an area we just discovered after 30+ years in Fairport. We saw geese galore, a huge turtle (at least 12in.in diameter), fish in 3 ponds. You might also look for signs of beavers. Be careful where you step as there were Jack-in-the-Pulpit, May Apples, Trillium, and other spring flowers as well as Poison Ivy. (Poison Ivy was not on the path nor near the hide.)

Nice hide in an area never been in. The cache name fits the area. Thanks.

Taking sometime to post all my finds from gc.com to here, so the date is not correct.
Did this along with a few others in the area.

Well, the gps was giving us a hard time. We got to the area in question and were very carefull not to walk into poison ivy. We were getting hot in our jeans. Bearcub and I finally got to the spot. Our gps read 2 feet. So we started to look around. It was real thick in here but it wasn't going to stop us. Bearcub finally spotted it! "Great going son!!" We were pressed for time, so Bearcub signed the logbook and we took off. No Trades today.

I decided to chase down a TB this morning and get a little exercise, what a nice spot. I was slightly a head of the rains and watched dozens of White Throated Sparrows along the hedgerows. Took the Doodle TB and left Mini Marshall TB.

Thanks for showing me a spot I would never had known about.

Decided to do this geocache as a last minute activity on this pleasant fall Sunday afternoon after a tour of the Amazing Maise Maze. This was a very nice walk in a surprisingly well hidden park area. Took the planes and seeds and left a Wegmans frig magnet and a Toonie (a $2 Canadian coin). This weekend I introduced the Whitefeet to geocaching. Thanks.

Found the cache about 7:15pm...funny didn't see the goose poop, but on our way out a flock of geese landed in the pond. They be noisy birds. Took the "Read all about it" travel bug and left a Mickey Mouse keychain. Tried to take a different trail out, but had to backtrack as the first trail we took came to a dead-end. Not many squeeters...now that was a surprise!

Easy hike, GPS brought me right to it. Just that there were so many good hiding spots it still took me 10 minutes to find it. Only saw 4 geese on the pond. Where are they? At Market Place Mall?. Logged in, took/left nothing. Thanks for the hide.

This one reminded me of your Crescent Hill hide from last year. Road Kill says he likes them tough, but you guys can be pretty tough yourselves. So many good hiding spots in such a small area, we could have been there a week. Thank you for another good one, Mrs. Rocky, Mother of Rocky, and I all had a great time.

After getting some directions from a very helpful gal an instructor at a karate school on Rt. 31 where I turn off, i finally found the area. It was pretty neat 3 ponds at least maybe more. Nice cache well placed and well stocked. Placed a traveler, signed the log and made my swap.

I first read about this cache last night about 11pm. Since it was close to my house, I grabbed Issaquah Puppy, and we headed out. I hadn't grabbed the print out. I drove around, but couldn't find entrance to trail. I was tired, and had to work today, so we headed home. I met HFJohn earlier today, so I knew he had already found it. Issaquah and I headed out earlier tonight (about 9:30ish pm). Having read the cache details, I knew where to look for trail. I still didn't see the trail start. But when I got out of car, and shined my headlamp around, I saw the small sign. It was raining, and dark. We headed in after cache. We saw a rabbit, numerous frogs, and various geese. Took a few minutes of shining light around to locate cache. I was busy signing cache, and puppy was standing on nearby log. As I was closing cache up, I hear a splash. I look over to see Issa had fallen into fast flowing creek, and was struggling to gain a foot hold. I dropped cache, and rushed over, taking slack out of leash, but she had managed to climb onto a log, and make her way back to shore. I re-hid cachebox, and we headed back out to car.

I recommend experienced cachers try night caching. It adds a new experience, and challenge to caching. This was a fun cache, and an excellent hunt for my 100th find on geocaching.com!

Ha hah! First ones to find it (at least, the first ones to write in the log). The trailhead is not easy to find; look for a thin strip of woods between two yards. It's a neat little area in the midst of a whole bunch of houses, and is worth a little hike to see it (even if there weren't any geese when I went).
