This cache's hiding place is not very conventional. You might need a hint before you can find it. The terrain here should not be a problem.

You are looking for a 35mm cannister with a log, but no writing utensil so BYO. Also, when you find the cache, please note the placing of the cache container and make sure everything is back as it was so that the log will hopefully stay dry.

FYI--This is one for history buffs.
The cache will bring you to Saint Rest Church and Cemetery. In the cemetery there is a grave of Justina F. Tubbe (born in Prussia 5/29/1795, died in Nacogdoches, Texas between 1860-1870?). A book was written about her, "I AM JUSTINA TUBBE(1999)". Also, German author Gisela Laudi is a descendant.

More information will come when I can get out there with a camera and do a little research.

Hi,dear cache owner !

Just by accident I discovered your cache "Justina F. Tubbe" by search machine. I am sooo proud to find it ! Because I am the author of her biography and I am a delighted geocacher in Germany too.
My cacher name is G&J&Hund in Geocaching.com.
Justina was the aunt and foster-mother of my great-great-grandmother, she came to Nacogdoches in 1855 and all the research for her life was fun. This stone was set for her memory besides her sons.
Please visit my website www.giselalaudi.de > english
Of course I'd like to look for this cache, but it will last until I perhaps will come over the big pont for one more time to meet with my dear Texan friends Fam. Tubbe, living nearby.
I'd like to hear from you.
Gisela Laudi
