Taking sometime to post all my finds from gc.com to here, so the date is not correct.
Got this one during skeeter season and lost tons of blood while looking in the drizzle.

42 degrees and partly cloudy on this day. What a cool find!! We stumbled upon a dead skunk. YUK! but, we found the cache not more than 15 feet from the dead animal. We saw 4 trains go by while we were on the hunt. One of them was an Amtrak doing about 70 miles an hour!! Bearcub traded a football card for Tic Tacs. Had a nice time here.

I went looking for Brandis buzzard bate today. Well kinda, let me explain.......All I had was the coords and no cache description so I didn't know about the bridge or anything.
Anyways I parked on the side of the road and started walking on a nice path right behind some houses. The path was well maintained and not on private property. So I thought I was going the right way until the gps pointed across a creek. Thats when Casey told me we made a mistake and to turn around. I told him no and tried to cross the creek by walking across this log. As Casey was watching me I slipped and fell into the ice cold creek all the way up to my waste. The camera and the gps got submerged in water. The magellan gps is fine but the camera has water bubbles in the lenses. I think when it dries out it will be fine I hope. I will attempt this cache
from the correct way next time. LOL

I really didn't want to log this as a no find, but even after finding 80 caches, I still make mistakes. LOL I will attempt this one again in a week or two.

Last cache of a 5 cache day. Arrived in area about 7:30 PM with darkness approaching. After several goofy attempts to get AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO CACHE SITE found Lyndon Bridge ( interesting it was on LYNDON Rd.) Oh boy, another canal one - which side this time...drove around a bit and ended up @ RR tracks...what the heck Let's TRY the tracks service road!! Worked... we were getting closer & closer...found a turn-around place and parked the car. GPS reading about 300 feet! BUSHWACKED to site...found it thanks to flashlights! (I never knew weeds could grow 8 FEET tall...Next SAVE TIME fools have a path at least!) Four of us on this one, MaMa Bear, BJD1955, BD, and Jerm! We are still laughing!

Left travel bug Fred the Head, TRAIN (Yes, one did go by), a fireman and a mini MaMa Bear.

Took George $, star sun glasses, McDonald toy, and pez,

Thanks for a great end to a great week=end!

On a clear day you can walk the Erie Canal forever. For the first time I started on the right side of a waterway. Shared the tow path with a hummingbird and a biker. A couple in their fishing boat passed by. Found cache intact at 1:43PM. Signed log book and left nothing. Too bad graffiti artists are already decimating the bridge.

Been there, done it. Saw it on Navicache.com last night, and then on the other site this morning, so decided to go after before work. A little longer walk than I anticipated. Oh well. Thanks for the hunt!

When are they going to finish that bridge?
