This is a two part cache, located in Black Creek Park, west of Rochester, NY in the town of Chili.

Part One is a very pleasant (at least in May) spot in a meadow, and can be reached by any of several deer trails off the main mowed path (please “walk like a deer”, single file along the trails to minimize impact on the vegetation).

The coordinates for the actual cache are posted on a fairly easily found wooden plaque at Part One. Part two of the cache has been relocated to a more remote location, after having been "muggled" early in 2006. It is now a "small" cache, starting out with a few collectible coins in a Play-Doh container (yellow with a fluorescent pink top to aid in the final search).

A couple cautions: Vegetation in the area has grown up considerably since the cache was first placed in 2002, especially the very thorny multiflora rose bushes that are very abundant. And when following the deer trails, be aware of uneven ground in places, this used to be a farm field and there’s still some old plowed furrows under the grass and vegetation. I've modified the terrain difficulty rating to reflect the current conditions. Some bushwhacking is necessary for part one, but for part two it is highly recommended (after getting back on the trail)to follow the mowed trails as much as possible, and avoid a straight-line bushwhack, due to a large amount of poison ivy on that route. The longer route is relatively free of it.

Coordinates for another cache in the park (“Down in the Dumps”) are also posted at Part One, if you’d like to visit that as well.

Interesting cache because the strip at WP1 is very faded. But we did not give up and we finally found GZ only to be more confused by a new set of coordinates. We continued to search the area and Revzak made the find. The cache was about 50 to 75 feet away from GZ though

Finally got some time to go out GCing with ScouterMark. Overcast in the 40's and sloggy trails, but still a good day. Third find of the day. Thanks for the hide! TNLNSL

Nice multi. Found this one during my lunch hour in nearby Black Creek Park. Thorny and prickery stuff all over the place. Wear LONG PANTS!!!.
Startled a few deer while I was there...appropriate name for this cache.
Thanks Bruce!

I found this one this afternoon. I visited this site earlier (the 'ord' location), but it was too dark for me to get anything accomplished. I wasn't really sure if I read the 'ords' rite the first time, as it was so dark, so I started my hunt by revisiting the initial waypoint today.
Not sure if the cache is in the exact location as it was when you placed it. It doesn't feel like your usual style. My GPS was only reading a accuracy of 13 feet at the cache... still seemed a little off. Also, it was in plain view, almost. The cache is in good shape though. Didn't take anything, didn't leave anything. (had a senior moment when I left my vehicle, and forgot my package). Logged in, and went off to find down in the dumps. Liked the tree.

Found this one after dark.

Part one was pretty easy but I fell apart on the second part. I circled for quite a while with my little light with no luck. I killed the batteries in the GPS and my backup flashlight. I let the batteries in the main light rest a bit and decided to give it one more shot.

I ended up finding it right next to where I had crawled in not 15 minutes before. I was right on top of it the whole time.

Since it was dark, I ended up walking into, or being grabbed by, every D#@*N rose bush in that field - most of them more than once. I really do have to learn to bring a bigger light for night caches (of course then it won't be as much fun....)

Took magnifying glass for the little one and the flashlight since I needed it to get out and left a knife. The cache is still packed full.

Thanks for the hide.

The two-part aspect of this was different--good fun. Watch out for poison ivy, however, if you're out during that season. The coordinates were dead on.

Found part 1 quickly and got the coordinates for the two caches. Found the one nearby. Very hot and pretty well scratched up from the walk in, shorts not a real good idea for this walk. But still enjoy finding the cache, will try for the other site on a cooler day.

3rd of 4 finds today, 11 Aug 02 Found 1st part at 11:20 AM and the 2nd part at 11:40 AM
I can’t believe the deer like to sleep on all those thorn bushes. But it was obvious this is where they bed down. Liked the way you presented the coordinates for the 2nd parts. Found the plaque right away. It and the 2nd part were right where they were supposed to be. Signed log, took/left nothing.

Hey! What an excellent day to go geocaching. It was made better by meeting so many cachers on this trail! As we parked the van we met Caron and her daughter. Chatted for a while (way to long for the kids who were anxious to get on the trail) and then headed out. The first part was very near to one we had done in the spring except now the grass makes it interesting. I see what you mean about single file.

Butterfly girl was the first to find the plague, sweety gal the first to greet the caching family we met (Pluto and Zork I think is what they call themselves...with little Zorkettes and Plutons).

Eversure didn't wait to chat...he is in training for the caches at the Rochester/Syracuse get together. He decided to get his Dad's GPS and head out. At lightening speed. He found in very fast time!

There appeared to be 5 logs ahead of ours. The cache box was in great shape but rather sparse so seeing how I just bulked up the bag we left more than we took. Butterfly girl was thrilled with the magnetic butterflys and says thanks, Eversure snatched the hot wheels and sweety took a flag. We left a Celtic Womens CD (very soothing I must say), a zebra, a mouse, a baby doll and a rather large stuffed poodel.

Thanks for and enjoyable end to our day....We were at Pineway Parks Pond for a CRAN picnic (the orphanage we used 12 years ago to adopt Eversure and Sweety...they should be on the Rochester news tonight........

Thanks again!
