The 1955 site requires a snowmobile in the winter months

Two living trees from the Black Hills of South Dakota were selected as "The National Christmas Tree" one in 1955 and one in 1970. The listed one was from 1970 and the other one is located at 44 09.100 x 103 57.770. See the attached picture for the 1970 site. There were also 16 other states where trees were cut prior to a living tree being planted in Washington D.C. Both of the SD sites have signs and are located in very beautiful settings.

This was actually an easy visual, we had alot of fun going over all the roads to get to this one, it was alot of fun and we all enjoyed our trip.
