You can find our cache off the Newport News bike path. Near the George Washington path you'll have start bushwacking. If you don't like bushwacking look for access paths along the way.
The cache is small in size and is a clear rubbermaid container and contains the following items: a kids bracelet and ring, key chain, silly putty, small blue ball, sparkle pencils, horse erasers, toy car, and a clown pencil sharpener. The stash is placed off the path when your heading towards George Washigton's HQ from the Newport News Park bike trail. When you depart the trail to find the stash you'll come across what looks like used to be an access road. Follow the path until you find what looks like a cannonball crater in the middle of the path -- you are real close now. Looking down on it is your best bet. |
