A nice little park in NW Austin we found by accident...

Parking for this is at N30° 25.894'/W97°46.904'. A short walk along paved trails. Last 200' are off trail. There is a small easily forded and quite pretty creek along the way. No poison ivy that we saw.

Initial contents of the well hidden ammo can were: log book and pen, Texas T-Shirt, mini Etch-a-Sketch, Flashlight and batteries, small lock-back knife, mini Star Wars puzzle, bug spray, lightstick, and other stuff we've forgotten.

Please try to rehide it as well as it is hidden. It's a fairly high traffic area and we wouldn't want the cache plundered.

This was the families first attempt. Lots of fun on a moderately difficult location. The kids loved running through the woods. Found the cache after about 30 minutes of searching around.

There's more to this place than I originally thought. The rest of the family had been here before. I had not. Nice shade and trails.

Actually found it on 5/2. Our last of a 5 cache night. So much fun! We found it without too much trouble, but again I din't set back-tracking on my GPS. Just a short walk from the road to our car! Went with Queen Fisher and had a great time as usual! Also, something smelled wonderful, and I'm sure it wasn't us. ;o) It smelled like lilac almost. Yummy.
Took: nothing
left: alcohol swab, purell, geo caching pin

thanks for the fun!

A great little hunt. I great way to start the year off right.
I made it more difficult than it should have been but there
were lots of people around and I went out and came around the
back side to keep from being too obvious. Beautiful site.
The kids loved the stream and the plantlife. "All Tangled Up"
is definitely an appropriate name. Whew! The cache was
well hidden and in good shape.

Did this one while in town for the NTGA Road Trip. I took a pin, left a Web-ling pencil, a US flag, and a snowman ornament.

Excellent cache location in another park I had never seen before. Moosiegirl came out here earlier by herself but wanted to come back and drop off a travel bug. Took the little pocket knife and left a screwdriver kit and a Furby. Thanks. Wayne
