Comments:
Due to low water bridge crossings certain approaches may require high clearance vehicles. The approach from the south is easiest.
Even then you may have to drive through a gravel creek crossing one to three inches deep.
The northern approach has a deeper crossing that may intimidate drivers. Flash flooding would be a good reason to pass on this cache for the day.

This area is a popular spot with locals due to the presence of beers cans. Hopefully the cache will not be
disturbed.

This is what happens when you sink a well and hit water under pressure. I've been told it was an exploratory well for mineral mining but it has never been verified.
I've drank the water with no ill effects.
If you would like to log this cache the look for
a forest service brown fiberglass road sign within 20 paces of the well. It's not real obvious and may be obscured by weeds in the summer.
What is the four digit number on this sign.

This is a virtual cache. Finding the sign with numbers verifies you were there. Unfortunately the Navicache e-mails automatically end up in my spam folder with yahoo.

I wanted this to be my 1st find but it did not work out. I found the well without any problem but could not find the cache, my math skill must be lacking, I will return in the future to complete this find. The water is good...
