The best approach is from the road linking the villages of Palafruguell and Begur.
At approx. N41º 56.214' E3º 11.835' you will find an unpaved road downwards East, signposted "Aigua Gelida" and "Cami vell de Tamariu".

The cache is hidden near a scenic cliff in the Costa Brava region of Spain (about 100 Km. North of Barcelona).

The trail is short but it passes through an area heavily overgrown so you will need some protection for the legs, arms and head.

Approx. 900 meters from there you take another unpaved road to the left PICTURE OF ROAD

Then you can leave the car under a group of pines to the left of the road.

Just some meters ahead there is a big pine PICTURE OF PINE where you leave the road and take a path to the right, passing a wire that prevents car passing.

Just to the right of this point there are some ruins (Mas Llor)and near it a big oak tree PICTURE OF OAK

Then you have to walk leaving an olive trees field to your left until you find a path in the upper part of another open field.

From there you begin to ascend following a path sometimes almost hidden by bushes and overgrown shrubs.

The crest of the hill is rocky and the view spans several cliffs, coves and beaches on the Mediterranean Sea.

The cache is in a translucent plastic container, near a rock, under a small pine and partially covered with pine spikes and leaves.

Following the description we found that overgrown path very quickly. Half-way the path seemed to end in nowhere but it doesn't. For easy return we marked several places with white papers which we collected on our way back - was a big help though the use of GPS. For a moment we doubt whether to climb the hill or to find another path. We made the right decision and approached the location just a few metres further. Cache was found easily, we traded nothing but made a picture with the camera.
