Please adjust your speakers to a comfortable listening volume. Musical accompaniment by the Talking Heads.

Once upon a time, this section of North Ellicott Creek Road continued straight on it's present course to an intersection with the since re-routed Dodge Road, and North Forest Road. This can be seen by clicking on the Topozone Map on this web page, which is obviously very old.

But currently, it's just a lovely little cul-de-sac with scenic views of the Ellicott Creek overflow channel and Interstate 990. And now, the location of a lame drive-up micro cache.

The cache contains a sawed-off pencil, but you'd best bring your own, as these things have a way of growing legs. For best results, place your thumb on the external geocaching website label, and slide to open.

The nice people in the nearest house have been informed what the weirdos are doing over at the dead end, but you should use discretion anyways.

There were a few casual Navicahe loggers who never got around to logging it here, Exit M. Don't worry though, the ranks are growing! A moot point on this one, since I've removed and retired it as of 17 April 2005.

Logging this one 2 and a half years after finding. Wow... has it really been that long? Anyway, my original log went like:

"Dragonflyby found cache, acting like a crazy person I checked under the 990. Thanks for the cache."

I can't get this song out of my head!!! Found it with MrMom. Actually, it had a nice view. Remember when it was a road to somewhere...rode the school bus to high school down that route. Thanks for the cache.
