Snow-accessible cache, Specially for Skiers / Snowshoers.

2 easy miles from the winter gate, or literally a few steps uphill from the parked car from July through October, when the gate is open.

The cache is in an ammobox which we got at the Utah's Caching 4th Birthday Party (thanks, ScoutMaster!), primed with toys, trinkets, and genuinely useful things for an outdoorsperson, as well as with a few covetable gamepieces:
The snow is great, and more is falling down :) :)

Got this one on an early morning ski. Had to resort to silver klister. Going up wasn't so bad. Coming down was a different story. Cache was high and dry and was easily found.

OK, so I don't ski and am a lazy slug getting this in the summer. I looked all over at the coordinates. Finally spotted it a little east after expanding my search area. Left a Dilbert joke.

My first Navicache find - up until a week ago, I didn't even know this site existed. This was a challenging cache for me - the snow was quite deep when I got to the coords. Grabbed the Hermit Gold I came for, but found my first cachunut (#309) and a couple of TBs as well! Forgot to leave what I had intended to leave, though! :( - Duh! Sorry!

What a nice evening for a little moonlight hike in the snow. At one point the dog ran ahead past some skiers and one of the skiers recognized the creature. It was Mockba himself! He caught up with us at the cache to make sure his coordinates were accurate and we could find the cache. Because he planned this as a winter cache and placed it high we were able to find it quite easily. It would have been impossible to find it if it were at ground level. Took the locally famous Adoor nut. Left a Lizard Toad badge and a caribeanner pen from England Trucking.
