Hike will include some hills, but trails are pretty well defined.

Cache is a 50cal ammo box that is painted camouflage. Cache contains
the normal log book. It also contains a selection of paperback books of
various genres. Only swap a book for a book. Please trade a quality
book that you feel others will enjoy.

Found it out a little ways in the marsh. I didn't think that's where it belonged, so I hid it on dry land. Took nothing and signed the log.

I have a book-themed cache on this site, too, but it's super-easy and nowhere near as fun as this one. The terrain wasn't as bad as it looked on paper, and it was such a pretty day outside! Plenty of people around but I used my sneaky skills and found the cache just fine. Took a murder mystery and left a bookcrossing.com book in the hope that it will travel well.

Well, Hinge, got a second one today from ya. It turned out to be a really nice and sunny evening. 'Bout time the sun came out for a change!!!!

Casey found this one on his own; holding the gps and all! He is really getting very good! He seems to find all kinds of things; like that bowling ball in the cement out there in the woods. We took a picture of that on the other cache, "Try and try". I think that was the most interesting find yet!! LOL

Signed the log, took nothing and left nothing. Enjoyed the nice sunny walk!

Found this cache just before going on a hike in the Rifle Range park just across the creek. Nice idea with the book exchange. We took "How to stay alive in the woods" and left "The Key to Rebecca" by Ken Follet. We want to come back and explore the park more completely some day.

found this with joanne (go team highland!) and it was particularly fun to be the first group to find such a cool cache idea! you have brought us both to yet another area that neither of us has been before. great view too! nice selection of books hidden in a great spot. gps' read pretty much right on target. we exchanged and left cache just as we found it. thanks so much for the fun. -di
