Another cache in the Oakmills/southshore area.

The last cache I had here received a both comments saying it was easy, and it was hard. Some saying it was rated too low, some rated too high. I think some of this was because of where people started, or rather if they followed my directions about where to park and what trail to follow.

On this cache I'm trying to make it even simpler (on me)... Im not telling you which parking lot to use, or which trail would be 'best'. I'll get the same 'its easy' 'its hard' logs, but I'll know YOU were the ones that choose the route. LOL!! :D

Also, while your in the area, check out the nearby Gibson Rec. cache, or the Henry County Nature center (in the 'Hills' of the South Shores area of Oakland Mills park).

For that may wonder about the gap it was 'retired'.
when I was seting up this cache I sent the county a letter about geocaching, explaing caching and saying I was going to place one at blank location (actually this would have been the third they've received in like 2.5 years). Anyways, I acutally got a reply, from the director at the time. It said they didn't have have an offical policy, they'd look into creating one/if they needed one, and he'd get back to me when that was done. And that I should please not place any new caches till then.
As I found out almost eight months later, the guy (joesph dixon) quit or got fired shortly after sending me a letter (not related AFAIK). Also apperently he didn't do a good job of filling in the new director (john pullif) because neither the sectary/office manager or the director seemed to know much about caching or creating a policy for it when I called.
Not having much luck catching the new director by phone, I sent a copy of the past letters and another request to him by mail. His reply was that they still have no policy and I could put a whereever as long as it doesn't cause problems for the park. Then it took me another month to go check the cache and make it sure it was ok before enabling.
