The hunt for this Cache will take you away from the main field of the country park, and underneath heavy tree cover. You *will* lose your signal - expecially in the summer months.

The Cache is an old Ammo Box.

This Cache is a themed cache - on Entertainment. Anything you leave should be entertainment related, such as a CD, or a book - A cinema ticket would be great, if you were sure someone would come back to find it in time.

I found it! 11 Mar 2003 by  Bill D wwh  (Finds: 2  Score: 9.5)    (Hidden: 0  Score: 0)

What a strange silent wood this is! The only sound was the noise I was making ploughing through the seas of dead leaves, and the cracking of twigs underfoot.

The clue would have been extremely useful if I'd decrypted it before I left the car park. But I didn't, and found myself blundering through the wood with my GPSr jumping around all over the place. I dread to think what it's like in summer!

I found what seemed to be the right location, but it was obvious my GPSr wasn't going to get me very close. So I sat down and decrypted the clue, then looked to one side and found myself staring at the very spot! It was one of those 'it has to be there' moments. And yes, there it was! The cache was well hidden, but the hiding place was obvious.

I took a little pocket magnifying glass and left a music cassette. And I think I took a self-portrait with the cache camera, but it might just be lots of trees.

I started back along a track, then another, but before long no track seemed to be going in the right direction so I blundered back through the trees. Without my GPSr I would have been completely lost.

Thanks for this cache!
