Cache is in a medium size ammo box. There is a half mile drive on dirt, the rest is paved. Any car should make it just fine. The Forest Service charges $3.00 per car to go up the canyon (Bogus) but there are more rest rooms and parking lots than there used to be. Many people come up here to hike to the top of Timp. There is a large paved parking lot at the Timp hike trailhead. The cache is a mile up the road from there.
The original contents of the cache include some small birdhouses, a chrome paperweight, an indian sculpture, Hot Wheels for the kids and an old Utah commemorative spoon (could be worth a bazillion dollars). Have fun. |
