I thought what the heck, let's see if this is still here. I had a nice walk into the cache area, and came across one other walker along the way on this drizzly cool day.

I looked around for about 40 minutes with no luck. I saw a pile of parallel placed sticks, very cache stick looking, but no cache was underneath it.

There was a large mound nearby that looked promising, but there were a ton of animal burrows and I didn't want to disturb a coyote or skunk family.

I was disappointed to leave without a find. Hopefully it's still there, but 5+ years without anybody finding it ...

OK, must be third time's the charm. I wasn't going to go home until I had tunred over every single leaf within 500 feet! Probably that's why it took about 2 minutes to find this time. Traded exercise video for keyching multi too and beach ball. Thnaks for the evening's exercise!

Second time looking for this one. Too many bugs and too many places to look. We won't give up, though!

Finally found this one. Felt like I was wandering aimlessly. After 45 minutes of flailing, I was just about ready to throw in the towel when I made a final pass and spotted it ! It was about 7:15PM and it was a beautiful evening. Interesting hide. Since the cache is not at the exact co-ordinates maybe a clue is in order. Not knowing if your a foot or a mile from your target is frustrating to say the least. Although I loved the walk and the area was superb. Took a figurine. Left a workout video.

Nice walk over from Pink Panther. Bill finally found cache after a few minutes of searching at 2:58PM (coords also put us in middle of open space that was obviously not where cache actually was). Cache was well hidden. Thanks for the good hide.

This was the 5th and last cache of the day. Real pretty area back there. Took nothing left nothing - thanks for the hunt.

Must admit that I tried to find this toward the end of winter. There was still too much of the ugly white stuff on the ground and I could not find it.
Today it was easy to find. And I agree-Geocachers are the nicest people!

You meet the nicest people while caching! We crossed paths with Caron while searching for the "Escape" cache.
This one is nearby and we found it with a little help. The coordinates put me in the open field about 30 feet away.
Took nothing; left some Japanese tissues and a handwarmer for those cold winter nights.

Found with relative ease.Took my daughter and nephew with me again.Wanted to sign the log book but there was no pen or pencil. Took a picture of the kids. They exchanged some stuff.Sure was a beautiful day.

This was my second of the day and I was glad for the long bike trek since it helped dry me out and warm up a bit.

I finally found it at about 4 PM after circling the most likely spots several times. This was very well hidden and took me over 20 minutes to find.

I believe I am number 15 on the camera. I was in a brown (deer colored) carhart jacket with an orange shirt over it so you'll recognize me if I have the wrong number.

Took Where'sGeorge bill and left tape.

Found it. Went to the location that Mr. Etrex told me to go. Right in the middle of an open spot. But having been successful at find 80 of these things, I started my search pattern and tried to think like the hider. Bingo. Searched three possible spots. Found it at the third. The cache is in good shape.....however the log book needs writing utensils. I only had the one pencil, or I would have left something.
camera has lots of film left on it. I was here in the mid-winter for Pink Panther and it is neat to see all the green. Bugs weren't bad, sunny, clouds less day. Thanks.

This time, I brought a spare pair of eyes with me, and he had no trouble spotting the cache after I pointed him to a likely area that I thought I had searched thoroughly.I hate know-it-all kids. :)
Swapped a few things, signed the log, took a picture and ran quickly away from the bugs. Mr. Eagle Eyes used his cache loot to catch a firefly on the way back (before releasing it back into the wild a few feet up the road). It was dark, so I didn't see any other wildlife besides whatever was crashing through the bushes and the parties along the pond. Still, I can claim a find, at last!

LOL, that settles it - I'm coming back for this one in winter! Third try today with no luck. I saw about a dozen lovely places for a cache in that small area, but no luck with the real thing! I really enjoy this area, though, an had a double light-show tonight with the fireflies near me and the fireworks down the road. I'll definitely be back to walk around at least, and maybe stab at a few shrubberies trying to find this one. I'll never give up, never surrender!

I went back there tonight to check on it, and its still where I put it.When
I hide it their were no leaves on the bushes and I was surprised to see how
different it look. I think I saw were you or someone was walking and it was
only about five feet away. caron

Ooooh, is this one presenting a challenge for me! I went out yesterday and then again tonight, this time bearing in mind that the coordinates may be a bit off and that I should thoroughly search the surrounding area. I did my best, but it was getting dark again and I had to call it a night. I may go back tomorrow because I can't stand losing. :)
BTW, the walk back in the dark is truly spectacular. I've never seen so many fireflies! It was like walking through the Main Street Electrical Parade. Fabulous! Another reason to come back tomorrow for another shot.

Stopped by during a walk with friends Willem and Aggie for another look. Found the cache within 2 minutes of arriving! The location was fairly far from the spot indicated by both Geo G's and my GPS (our trip yesterday is misfiled as on 6/10). I took a small carabiner and left a purple-snouted green pig.

Returned with Geo G and spent some more time looking, but still missed it!

I had just come from Pink Panther and was running short of time and energy, but I thought I would give this a quick try. Oh well, I'll come back another time since this is a good place for a walk.

Found it at 10:35 AM. Nice walk on a sunny day. Took nothing, left nothing.

As we pulled up to parking we saw a few fellow cachers milling about.. But we were pretty successful at getting through them and getting started on the hunt.. ;)

The kids and I enjoyed the walk and it was zeroed in on with no problem.. We took nothing but left and Angel :)

Our second "find" of the afternoon. Great day for caching, overcast and about 50 degrees. Good location, we were scratching our heads for a few minutes. Took carabeener, left American flag.

Nice hide, neat mini adventure for a Saturday morning. Like Quinn i made use of my bike which worked out pretty well. Had to search a little to find the box but was well worth it. Trade statue for coffee and headed off to find Gimp`s "Maps Maiden".

I had done Pink Panther cache last year, so I knew the area. We found the cache area pretty easily, though my GPS said the coords pointed to open grass area. I looked around and found the spot where a cache most likely to be, and found it there. (40 feet from where my GPS said the coords were).

Found this cache around 7:45PM on a very nice evening with the weather perfect for caching. No bugs, no people!

I know how far it is both ways from the cache, so being as lazy as I am I decided to take the Mountain bike along with me for the quick trek!

Beautiful area with some very nice views of White Geese just North of the small bridge.
Coordinates were perfect and little searching was required to find the container. I took my picture with the "Single use camera" in the cache, and also signed the logbook.
I took nothing but traded "Wheres George" bills and left a couple extra's, I also left a new Carabener for the next cacher.
Included with this report is some pix I took that do not give away the cache location.

This is a hunt the whole family will love and if you ride bikes this is an awsome area to do so!
