I came across the area while heading to the top of the mountain. When I placed the cache it was almost a drive by, but since then some irresponsible people 4 wheeling crashed and threatened a law suit. So a gate has been added to keep all motorized vehicles out. Anyway the cache now requires a hike. The cache rating will climb depending on the time of year you go after it. A high clearance vehicle is recommended. The cache is up American Fork Canyon so if you come from this way to get the cache a $3.00 fee is required, but this isn't the only way up here.

Just claiming a find originally posted at the gc.com site - I think it is so much better for any cache listing to have logs :)
Back when we reached it with Jasmine, the immediate area was crowded with ATVs. But our route was different - a nice hike, away from the fumes, starting from Graveyard flat. The we coninued up a bit along the ATV trail, and dropped into Mary Hellen gulch for Miner's Last cache, and on to Pittsburgh Lake from there.
