Comments:
Esculapia Springs was probably named after the Greek god of medicine Esculapius. A resort was constructed at the springs in 1846 and operated till 1912 when the resort was destroyed by fire second and final time. Many people traveled great distances to partake of the medicinal qualities of the spring water that flowed here.
