The above coordinates will get you near the correct intersection. From the apex of the west corner of Fairview and Osoyoos, your goal is 199 ft. from you on a heading of 233° true. It once was grand, but now a brand and but a hollow vestige. If you look about its foot then lots of loot you’ll find.

This cache was put together and hidden by my almost 6 yr old son. It contains a collection of loot, primarily of interest to children. The container is a 4 L ice cream bucket.

Initial contents includes some McDonald’s Happy Meal toys, some “bouncy balls”, a wrist compass, a bobble-head Clifford dog, a couple of small cars, a “Biggest Bears!” video, some “Magic” cards, and a silver-coloured magic wand.

Please repack and rehide the cache very carefully, as this area is frequented by children building forts and exploring for treasures and will certainly be found accidentally if it is not well hidden.

Not a lot of caches listed here for Vancouver, but this one was, so I put it on the top of my list to find.

Copying my log from the Geocaching.com:

Wow, I was glad that we were hunting for this one on a Saturday! I could see it being packed with muggles on a school day! Travis came up with the hide quickly after we figured out where the offset would put us. Thanks for the hunt!

Great find. Not a bad hiding spot. Took the lizard, left my Seymour Scout District pin.

PS: I know I already logged it on gc.com but like the idea of using both sites.

Night caching with Gorak. This was my second time looking for this one -- I'd been here before with RobertM but we couldn't find it. This time I pretty much walked right up to it. Thanks for the hide. TNLN.
