Legal Parking near N 38° 55.555, W 104° 51.444 - these are close but on the wrong side of the road. I couldn't pass up on those cool coordinates.

No private land needs to be crossed to get here. You are on the South and West boundaries of hp so observe the private property signs. Small ammo can. It is well hidden in an obvious place, so move a few rocks but rehide it well. This area gets lots of traffic. Explore the area after you find it.

No luck for my (10 year old) boy and I this time. We found the location very quickly but not the box. We looked for about half an hour and then finally gave it up. Any hints? Its supposed to be pretty obvious so I hope someone didn't take it. We found the pretty pink and white (geode like) rock and thought that might be a clue, but it didn't end up helping us.

Here's an alternate parking location for others that might be lazy like us: N38:54.662 W104:50.530. This gets you within about 1/10th of a mile at the start but if you don't have a road GPS unit it may be a challenge to find. We live a few hundred feet from the original posted parking suggestion and so (as I mentioned in my little arch post) I know my way around the park pretty well.

Someone please give us a hint if you don't mind. Jacob was a bit disappointed that we didn't find "the treasure" so I'd like to run back over there again soon and have another look.

Thanks!

Mike and Jacob

I parked at a public parking place so I could do this cache and Little Arch during a brief visit to the area. Very interesting area for the geocache. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.

This is mine and Casey's first Navi-cache we found together in a long time. It's good to see that more of them are showing up in Colorado. The trip from Pueblo was well worth it. Even though it was harder to find the place to park than it was to find the cache.
We dropped off Timothy the travel bug that we just picked up yesterday, signed the log and put the cache back in it's place.

We are proud to have our first cache under our new username Broncoholics.

Thanks for the fun today.

Duane

I found this cache in May 2002 (GC.com) but it washed away or was destroyed over a year ago according to the logs at GC.com. It should be changed to a virtual cache or removed from the active cache listings.
