This multicache presents a short journey through my favorite places in the Adirondacks, without leaving Pittsford.

Each microcache leading to the real cache is one of my favorite places in the Adirondacks. Our family enjoys the region in all seasons of the year and we normally go visit in winter and summer.

This cache was designed to be mostly accessible in all seasons, meaning everything is off the ground so the snow can't cover it (depending on depth of course!). But be careful, especially on the final cache - the hills are steep and can get slippery when wet/snowy.

Most of the micros and the final cache should be fairly easy to find. The only difficult part about this cache is the terrain - it is very hilly, and probably is not appropriate for the little ones (at least not mine!)

Your first stop is Old Forge, gateway to the Adirondacks. The coordinates listed will take you there.

The final cache is a standard ammo box with camping type supplies. Feel free to keep to the theme, or trade anything else you want.

Enjoy your trip in the Adirondacks, without leaving Pittsford!

11/27/03 Corrected (?) starting coordinates. Previously start was N43 02.333, W77 28.664 and that seemed a bit off. My GPS never gives the same reading in this area (perhaps the hills?)
