FOR EXTREME CACHERS ONLY!!! If you decide to go after this cache you are doing so completely at your own risk.

Scared the heck out of me placing it. This is the most difficult cache in the Rochester area (as of 4/13). It is not for children, nor most adults. Cache is in a small public park. Please try to be unobserved when going after cache.

The container is a small tupperware box that has been painted brown/black. Contains a log book, and a troll's treasure.

Please do not mark cache as found unless you actually reached it.

Ryan found the cache at 5:20PM. This was our 4th time there searching (various ones of us each time), but wasn't about to give up.

Took WG$ (outta mercy, its looking pretty bad from being in there w/ the moisture). Left a Susan B to go along w/ all the other coins.

Thanks for the adventure.

My venture is in need of repair so the coords I got were pretty far off. It was pointing me to the railroad bridge. Figured it wasn't there, though I did end up walking across the suspended pipe, which was a little iffy. Finally found the thing and laughed when I actually saw it. Can't believe I had missed it. Retrieved it, but unfortunately the contents are wet and moldy. Put the undamaged contents in a ziplock bag from my truck and replaced the cache in the location I found it. Off to seek Leprechaun's treasure.

Speaking of trolls, (though this one would have been turned to stone, if it was out when I was there) check out the The Fellowship of the Ring cache. This is the original and ultimate LOTR quest style cache and has been nominated as one of the best caches in the NE US, plus get a chance to earn your very own wall hanging/quilt from the famous geoquilter DxChallenged!

Also while your in town check out the Gamehendge Rangers other caches, all of which have been mentioned in a recent frontpage news story. Plus keep an eye out for my soon to be released --what a long strange trip it's been-- cache, a difficult cache, loosely based on my travels across the country, featuring miles of hiking, tons of waypoints, puzzles, and other surprises.

Stopped just to scope this one out and see what “tools” were needed for a future attempt with my fellow cacher Country Boy Gary. Spotted it right away. Thought about it for a while and then went for it – no tools needed. Signed log, took/left nothing. Replaced it exactly as I found it. Maybe I was lucky. Thanks for the challenge.

We finally found it. Started out on the 22nd in the evening at the wrong park. Realized we needed to be further west, got out the map and found a park we didn't know existed even though we only live a few miles from it. Looked around until it got too dark. Came back tonight with some "tools" but couldn't find it again. Searched high and low. Knew where it had to be. Persistence paid off. A last effort got us there. Took nothing, left nothing.

Yo yo yo! Forgot about this miss from a long time ago, and didn't realize we had to go back til we saw the Four Pack yesterday and started talkin' about it. Haven't seen the Four Pack in a while; glad to be acquainted again! :)

It does take a team effort, that's for sure. The "Troll" is everything!!!!!!!! Way to go, Bill, for "hangin" in there!

Found it as a team, so took nothing and left nothing. Signed the log and took a picture of the group.
Had a scare there, too! Remember, fourpack? LOLOL Shame on you, Bill! Scarin' your woman like that with the big ol' rock!

Thanks Hinge, for an "interesting" adventure!

My best guess is you needed the otter to place the cache. I took as many chances as I was prepared and have some ideas where it might lie, but, didn't have the gear or a back-up person to risk it. Some goofy stuff was going on with my Vista. I'd stand on the bridge where you'd expect a good reading and it would give a bearing and distance. I'd move a couple of feet in that direction and the bearing would flip almost 120 degrees away from the previous reading. If I could have seen the troll I'd have throttled him for jamming my signals

Caron was correct...this cache works better when you have a team trying it together.

Very fun hunt and in a great location, neat little idea you had there!

We came in from a different location than I think you did when you placed it, but none the less it's not the route, it's the find that racks the points.
If you take your time.

I took several pictures of the area and have included only a couple here that were taken "NOT" showing the cache spot or anything that would give away the adventure.

I left a "wheres George" dollar and a "Carabener" and took that neat little penny in the display package.

We both signed the log book and placed the cache back as we found it. Your coordinates were dead on and could not have been better.
Thanks for the great time and I see that Map330 is doing it's job!
You and I will have to team up and place a doozy of a cache soon!

The writeup was intriguing, so we headed out before a hike
to try to find the cache. No luck. We seemed to have a hard time locking in the coordinates and crossed the creek
many times following bad leads. The creek was very high
after the full day of rain yesterday. Lots of trash around, so feel free to bring bags and haul some out.
