An easy stroll to a US flag themed cache by the bay.
This cache has a US flag theme. If you can, please trade items with a flag, red white & blue colors, or anything remotely patriotic. If you can't, trade what you wish. Depending on your timing and approach, this can either be a cakewalk or a nice stroll. The gates to the park are only open from about 8am to 4pm, so if you come any other time you'll have to park at top and walk the trails or service road down (that's what I did). When I placed the cache, I didn't realize how close to the service road I was. I decided to leave it there, figuring at least half the people have to walk down anyway because of the timing issues. Don't get your car locked in! |

Was a very humid day! Cache was not near the coordinates... not sure if it is our GPS but first time we had to look quiet a ways away from the location!

Was a great day, had my youngest son with me. found cache area and we looked at cache spot a couple times and finally grabbed it. took a light TB and left a geocoin.Thanks for the cache.
