Comments:
NOTE: As with other large lakes, Pitt Lake is subject to strong winds and waves which can make paddling dangerous. Be sure to check weather forecasts before venturing out to this cache and carry extra food and clothing with you in the event that inclement weather prohibits you from travelling.

Also note that access along the west shore to and from Grant Narrows is generally not possible due to falling tides that expose a large sandbar at the south end of the lake. You will need to travel along the east shore of the lake in the deepened channel.

We have not implemented maps outside of the U.S.A. ... YET!

The cache is a small camouflaged Lock & Lock container and is placed along the shore of the rocky beach near the Osprey Creek North campsite area -- no bushwhacking is necessary. The location is a nice place from which to watch the sun set behind the adjacent mountains.

The cache contains only a logbook and pencil and is very well hidden. No trading is necessary as the container is quite small. If you decide to leave something please make certain that the contents to not inhibit the lid from sealing properly. Please make sure that the cache is not obvilously visible when you re-hide it.

Have fun and enjoy your trip to Osprey Creek!
