The cache is in the recreational area called ’t Twiske. It is a rather big area, between Oostzaan, Amsterdam, Landsmeer and Purmerend.

Dit is een vrij groot gebied tussen Oostzaan, Amsterdam, Landsmeer en Purmerend.

You need: good walking shoes, food and water for a day, a CALCULATOR, a printout of the SPREADSHEET, spare batteries, patience and a whole morning or afternoon for searching.

Je hebt nodig: goede wandelschoenen, voldoende voedsel en water voor een hele dag, een REKENMACHINE, een print van de tabellen, reserve batterijen, geduld en een hele morgen of middag.

The tour will take you through the whole park and you will have to stop at every small ANWB infoboot. When you are searching for the cache, you will be walking for more than 15km. You have to fill in the distances to local towns and interesting points into the spreadsheet. Don't forget to write down the complete number representing the distance. When you read "12,3" you write down 12,3 and when you read "2,-" you write down 2,0 and when you read "-" you write done 0,0. The dark red cells may be left open.

When your done you may start to calculate. You have to calculate by the columns and not by the rows.

First you total the colums and write it down.
Then you square this number (multiply by itself) and write the result down. For instance 4,0 becomes 16 and 2,2 becomes 4,84 .
Then you multiply this number with 100 and write the result down.
Finally you add the corresponding number from the next table to the previous result.

Deze tour gaat door het hele recreatiegebied Het Twiske en is langer dan 15 km. Ondertussen moet je stoppen bij iedere ANWB wegwijzer-paddestoel, waar je de afstanden naar locale plaatsen en objecten moet noteren op de juiste velden in de rekentabel.

Neem hierbij altijd het hele nummer over: wanneer je "12.3" leest dan schrijf je 12,3, wanneer je "2,-" leest dan schrijf je 2,0 en wanneer je "-" leest, dan schrijf je 0,0 . De donker rode cellen in de rekentabel mag je open laten.

Eerst tel je de getallen in de kolommen op en schrijft dit onderaan in het juiste veldje.
Dan kwadrateer je dit nummer (multiply by itself) en schrijf je wederom het resultaat in het juiste veldje. Bijvoorbeeld 4,0 wordt 16 and 2,2 wordt 4,84 .
Vervolgens vermenigvuldig je dit getal met 100 en schrijf je wederom het resultaat in het juiste veldje.
Uiteindelijk tel je hierbij het corresponderende getal uit de tabel er bij op en schrijf je wederom het resultaat in het juiste veldje.
De oplossing is dan vrij simpel.
