Rumour has it, the Native Americans considered this spot sacred. There is a nice sign on one of the overlooks on top of the rock that describes it's history. In order to claim credit for this find, email the following information: As you are on the small wooden platform on the trail looking directly at the hole in the rock, to the right, you will see a sign warning you to stay on the trail due to a particular hazard.
