This is a scenic trail system along the Balsam Branch River-as it flows south into Lake Wapogasset.
This cache is not a long hike, but could be tricky depending on the conditions. Soft or wet ground could be encountered. A narrow winding path could be slippery after rain. Things to trip over are abundant, so Watch That Step! There is a trail leading to within 15 feet of the hide spot. **There is No need to bushwack to get to the cache. No ferns will be encountered.
