While on vacation with my family and friends, we spent a very nice day walking the property of Boldt Castle.
There is much history to be learned here that the whole family will enjoy.

Plan on spending a good part of your day here if you wish to see all there is. Also be sure to take the ferry over to the Boldt boat house across the water for another tour into the history of this area.

Another nice site to visit filled with images of the castle and it's back ground can be found by using this link of the 1000 islands.

To get to Boldt Castle you will have to cross the waterway in some fashion or another. There are quite a few ferry boats near by that have set times for just this.
