Another great cache on the NCT. Team Rambo consisted of Don, Steph, and Geodog Nellie today. Geodog was pooped after this cache. 1.5 mile round trips all do her in. 1.5 miles for us, 5 times that for her cause shes running all over the place.

Glad to see more PA caches popping up here. Down on a caching trip from Erie, PA. Hit this one at 1:00 number 5 of 12 for the day. The mud was pretty bad on this one today, making it more then a 1.5 difficulty, only one I didn't wear my hiking boots for to this point and I definately should have.

Check out the cache, worth a couple hour drive for any geocacher or even a longer drive for a Tolkien fan (IMHO, but I may be a little biased :)

I hiked to the cache from Staff Road. It was an easy walk as the sun was going down. There were a lot of immature pines along the way which was a refreshing bit of green in a sea of grey and brown. It was easy to find the cache because the conditions for GPS on the approach to the hiding place are just about ideal. I went right to it and the numbers were right on. I took the hoppie floppie and some Pez. I left a combination flashlight, the rubber duckie travelbug, and some other stuff. Thanks for yet another fun cache. I had a great day! Johnny.
