This cache is my cache that was removed by the land manager at the Iroquois Wildlife Refuge. The cache is jam packed with goodies & and has been transplanted to a real nice area. Log book is fresh & cache has a new cache camera. GPS reception at the time of placement was fine, but will probably decline as the foliage blooms for the Spring & Summer. Dogs are permitted on the trails, no public facilities are on the property. Off road parking is available at the trails head. Even if you've logged this one at its' old location, give it a go. I think you'll enjoy the area.

Great old school cache. I found it after finding the two newer geocaching.com only caches on the way to it. Standing alone, as it did in the olden days, this cache is a one-mile round trip to a great area. TNLN, TFTC.

Had solved this cache with another cacher, but it took me months to finally get out there and sign the log myself.
Nice cache, puzzle was fun!

Nice hiding spot. Found it quite quickly. The mosquitoes were hungry though. Two hikers snuck up on us but didn't know what we were doing. Nice area. Thanks for the hide.

Gimpy, your hides are always worth walking for. The Honeysuckle and wild flowers were an added attraction. We hope you can make it to the next Letchworth Fall Gathering IV on October 15 Coyote would love to chat with you again. Left a tablet took a Jack Benny CD for Coyote who is in Strong Hospital right now. We found this one with Delta Team. See ya, Gamma Kitt

Today was a perfect day (sunny, 70) and this has to be close to my idea of a perfect cache location. Up off the ground, with a nice place to sit. There was a cool breeze keeping the bugs away and all was right with the world. The cache is in good shape, but I cleaned it up a little, added some new baggies for some loose items and traded a beaker filled with beads for a pair of earrings. I attached one of the earrings to me newly started "cache hat".
This cache is kid-friendly - but don't take them next door to Louie! Unless they really like getting muddy, that is.

Did this cache with Craegs and Vargseld after we did Louie the Lizard. I have to admit, it didn't take too long to find, because of foot prints in the snow. Good hiding spot! I took the Lightsaber Dueling pack and left a bag of gold nuggets, a globe key chain and a CITO bag. Thank you for a fun cache.

Nice little hike and a great hiding spot.

Took nothing but a couple shots of bug spray and left nothing since I left the pack in the truck.

The camera is empty - they all seem to be when I get to them lately, I'm not that scary on film....

Thanks for the hide.

I headed out for this one after work and after making just one wrong turn I managed to find the parking spot. Nice trails took me back to the cache area - the place was deserted and so truly pretty that I took a bit of time to explore. The cornfield seemed a bit incongruous to me, though. The cache was nicely hidden, well out of sight and stocked full with all kindsa neat stuff. After reading some log entries I decided to leave my extra bug spray behind. I also left an astrology CD, took a compass keychain and the travel bug, Marvin - my second Martian bug! Took what may be my picture with the little camera. Lucky picture #13, I think. What a nice, cool, easy, shady walk this was - thanks!

Started raining as I left Samís Surprise cache. It was still raining when I arrived at the parking spot, so had to wait a while before I could do this last one of the day. This was a real nice walk in the woods. GPS took me right to it. Real nice hiding spot. A lot of trails back there. Good thing GPS leaves a breadcrumb trail. Took picture #14 with cache camera. So now Gimpy even though Samís Surprise cache camera was full, you still got my picture HA HA. Signed log, took/left nothing. Thanks Gimpy for another nice hide.

OK Gimpy who do I complain to next so you have to bring another one of yours in closer for me to find. Just kidding, but you did make something nice out of the transplant. Had a great ride to the cache, aotorouting on the back roads from the East Avon area to your new spot. Many Geese flying low overhead as I walked to the cache area, honking up a storm. Loved the very mature trees in the cache area, wish I would have had my camera, some were huge! Did have to look a little more than usual as the cache is well hidden with many possibilities in the general area. Cache is in excellent shape, took a picture, left a log entry. Thank you, still having a ton of fun as I start my second year of caching.

Found it! I was visiting Quinn, when he tells me that Gimpy had just put
a cache online at Navicache within the last few minutes. When I left
Quinn's, I headed straight for the new cache. I found it quickly with my
new Map 330 (Thanks Quinn!) I took a pair of Ponchos, and left a
watch. Thanks Gimpy!
