This was my first geocache hunt . . . it was awesome. I found a new sport! Thank You. The cache was exactly where the hints led us. Actually, this hunt was a field trip for classes I teach. Check out the log book for details. We left a piece of coral, a little mom and a Stinger Bee magnet. We took the Hot Wheels car, a piece of dice and the travel bug. We are learning more everyday about the sport and will take care of the bug. Enjoy your hike!

Blue Spruce is a nice park but we didn't get to see it until after we found the cache. We followed a jeep road through a clearcut and a couple of gas wells to a powerline which eventually got us to the park trail. The whole area has been clearcut fairly recently so it isn't much to look at. It is, however, an interesting place for a cache hunt. It's going to be quite a challenge to find a cache in there when it gets a little greener. We would like to recommend that other geocachers should begin the hunt from the park. We believe that the overall geocaching experience would have been much better from there. We found the cache after a five minute search. I think we got lucky today. We dropped off a travelling cache which has been in my posession for too long now. Please help Newfie Fly Trap get to Newfoundland. Thanks Rock! Johnny and Kyle.
