this was in the CVS parking lot in Pompton Lakes the corner of Hamberg Tpk. and Terhune Dr. The driver was sitting in the Jeep making a phone call, so I took the pics from this angle.

We've passed a couple Jeeps since we saw this listing, but today finally on the way taking MrDotOne to work, we were in stop-n-go traffic right next to this Jeep. Acting quickly, MrDotOne took out his cell phone and snapped this pic as we held up traffic behind us so we wouldn't lose the shot .. lol! This was on Interstate 90 in Cleveland, and coords where the pic was taken are 41 28.185 - 081 44.808

Went to my first caching event today and what did I find, but a yellow jeep!! Interesting that I had discovered the navicahce site and this cache just before I left. I don't know if this will count, and I won't be offended if it doesn't, but you can't deny the coincidence.

This fun scavengercache has my 9 year old pointing out every jeep we see. We looked for ages around our MA home to find a yellow one - it took a trip to Lake George, NY for us to find not one, but 2 in our hotel parking lot. My daughter was estatic (N043 25.167 W073 42.837). As soon as we got back, there was a yellow jeep in her summer camp parking lot!!

Thought this was a good cache to ease myself into the sport with. And of course once I decided to do this didn't see a jeep for a week or two straight. Pulled into work one day and a yellow jeep zipped past me in the parking lot. So of course I had to get in the car and get to where it had parked. Woohoo Jeep #001. JL

  A Yellow Jeep at Notre Dame

I drive by this Jeep Wrangler every morning on the way to work. It is only about three blocks from my house. After I found that I could claim it as a find I went out this evening and took a picture.

Found this yellow jeep in a parking lot in Lake HAvasu City Arizona on Valentines Night. The GPS snuck up there and smiled for the photo and we ran away quickly before having to explain ourselves!

4:05 PM - My first post to this site, although I have been geocaching since last August on the other one.

I found this yellow Wrangler in the parking lot of Costco in Mountain View, CA at N 37° 25.184 W 122° 05.651. After convincing David, the owner, that I was not an undercover narc, he let me take the picture. We had a long iteresting conversation about GPSrs, geocaching, and what to get nieces and nephews for Christmas. Cache is King! Er, make that Cash!

I found this Great Yellow Beastie hiding under a London Drugs in Victoria BC Canada. It was cowering away from our nasty Canadian winter with its ragtop hoisted about it's windshield. I snapped it's picture and left it sitting silently waiting for Spring to arrive.

Read about this cache yesterday and this morning ran across a yellow jeep wrangler within 4 miles of my home. Pictures are being developed, as I have no digital camera, so will upload them as soon as possible.

Cache Poor

After cautiously hunting these illusive yellow Jeeps, I was beginning to think they were a figment of someone's imagination. When lo and behold, as we pulled in to a BBQ joint to get dinner to take home, DogMa spots one of these cagey beasts pulling into a watering hole next door.

This cagey critter was wise, for it tried to hide it self amongst the invulnerable motorcycle gang. But it was safe for the moment for we had neither camera nor GPS with us.

On this same evening we decided to take in a Drive-In Movie (and score another cache in the process) Scooby Doo was opening and the line of cars was quite long. DogMa again spotted another Jeep with a flowing black main across its top. But this time, camera and GPS were already in hand.

As we entered the theater we carefully prowled about, seeking this yellow Jeep, trying not to be spotted. As we headed for a place to park we drove right by it, quickly snapped a picture, and continued on, hoping that we did not disturb it from its chosen resting place.

But back in our spot, we examined the evidence and realized the photo of the Jeep was not going to work due to the heavy darkness. So we cautiously approached it for a second time, this time on foot.

Carefully rounding a heard of pintos and mustangs, we approached this yellow beast head on, only to find it had consumed two people, a man and a woman! We motioned for them to roll down the window (windows rolled up in the summer time??) as we explained our quest. We did not need to offer any assistance however as we noticed a permeating odor of noxious weed, obviously the salad for this beasts 2 person course.

We quickly got our pictures and left, trying not to disturb the beast as it lay, carefully predicting its next move.

Well, isn't this the coolest cache? My husband was browsing this site and came across this cache. Had to do it! The next day, low and behold, a yellow jeep wrangler sitting right at my son's school! I quickly took a picture and now I'm sending it your way! All the way from Rochester, NY to Mesa, Arizona!!

  Yellow jeep wrangler

Much to our disgust, the yellow Jeep disease has spread to El Dorado Hills, California. We actually spotted this one while geocaching! We had to be stealthy to get the photo since the owner appeared to be working in his front yard. We didn't want the yellow Jeep to contaminate our blue one, so we snapped the shot, got the coords (N38 40.782 W 121 00.736) and sped off to alert everyone of our siting.
