If you're visiting Arlington National Cemetery there is a bike path from the cemetery to here. (10 minute walk according to their printed instructions)
You can also drive, there is ample parking.

During the Summer months every Tuesday night at 7:00pm, the Marine Corps Bugle & Drum Band and the Silent Drill Team display their skills in an hour long performance. It is free to the public, just bring a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot to sit beneath the trees.
