This rock formation alone is worth the trip. there is a TeePee and several lakes

Best access is from the West Point side. A sign says something about a WestPoint or DoD permit required to park but that is for asite down the road. Park at N 41° 22.698' W 74° 01.101' and walk in. An even more enjoyable walk and views are to be had by entering from 9w at N 41° 25.287' W 74° 01.814' and parking off the side of the road at N 41° 25.028' W 74° 01.893'. This is no doube the best excersize / work out route. We spent under 3 hours on this hike entering from the 9W side.
A beautiful lake view is at N 41° 23.667' W 74° 01.587'.
There is a Tee Pee (N 41° 23.779' W 74° 01.399') but could be on private land somehow.
Don't forget to drink lots of water and leave the cigarettes at home, It's a bit dry there at this writing.
