This cache is on the Outlet trail Between Penn Yan and Dresden. Great place for a walk or mountain bike ride.
Even though I no longer live in the area this cache is in, I always wanted to put one on this trail. Our cache has no theme, just a bunch of treasures to find. Close by, you will see a waterfall and a new picnic area. I would highly recommend wearing bug spray during warm weather. One, big WARNING! The water at times in the Outlet can be very fast and rise without warning. If you have children with you or dogs, please don't let them go off the trail and play by the water. The day we hid this cache, someone's dog fell into the outlet and went over the falls! Lucky, Firemen rescued the dog after being stuck for about 2 hours at the bottom of the falls. The dog was ok. Please hide the cache well after you find it. Enjoy! |
