If you don't work or live in downtown Saint Paul, I recommend doing this cache after 16:30 or on a weekend as meter parking is free and there will be fewer people around. This cache can be done at any time if you're willing to pay for parking.

Good luck getting your GPSr to work here. You'll likely need to give it some time to get accurate. Because your GPSr will likely bounce around a bit, this cache gets bumped up to a 2.5 star difficulty.

Parking is legal anywhere there is a meter. Someone said that the bus lanes turn into free parking on some days too, but I haven't bothered to figure it out. Either way, obey all signs, and park legally.

This park was the home of towlebooth's GCE800 Down in Lowertown micro cache which went missing in the autumn of 2003.

I live about 2 blocks away from this cache, so welcome to my neighbourhood. There are a few good places to eat in the area, and if you're good for a hike there are a few caches within walking distance. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday morning in the summer, I highly recommend visiting the Saint Paul Farmers' Market a block to the east.

Cache container was given to me as a gift from Kitch.

I stole FTF from KCOGRN, who was in the area searching when I got there. We looked in a few spots, then I noticed a hard-to-see nook, went and poked my fingers in, and felt the cache. We almost couldn't get the log out, even with the pliers on my Leatherman Squirt. TNLN, Thanks for the cache. 15Tango
