This is a 5 part Multi that will take you on a drive to 4 beautiful lakes in Rice County and drive past 3 small lakes. Then end in a nice quiet park. Good for a picnic (closes at 10:30pm). Total time to cache from start is about 1 hour. Distance is 13 miles. Each leg is about 10 ft from the car. Final Cache is a Ammo Can 135 ft from parking area.

I lived in the area where the final cache is for a short time and rode my bike to Faribault. You will follow my path around some of the most beautiful Lakes Minnesota has to offer! Please enjoy the views (take your eyes off the GPS). There are 11 lakes in a 5 mile radius. We will visit 4.

I HIGHLY recommend printing the map of the area so you have a roadmap. If you make a wrong turn, you will be able to find your way around. I didn't make this difficult to find.

Primary coordinates is a staging area to get you going on a nice drive around Roberds Lake. Coords are in a small pipe tucked into the base of the "Umbrella" Tree. Only half of it is alive because it was struck by lightning. You can see the scar.

2nd stage is in a black 35mm film canister UNDER a flat rock, at the base of a small tree. The next 2 stages are like stage 1.

From Roberds Lake, make sure you turn left at the T, NOT BEFORE. Look for the sign for French Lake. Then turn that direction. If you end up at Kelly/Dudley Lake you turned too soon, yet you got to see another lake. This is the only tricky part.

Bring your boat and your fishing pole. There are plenty spots to choose. (Winter you can do some great Ice fishing, 4 wheeling or snowmobiling.)

In the park seek high ground, you need not get your feet wet.

If you visit Sakatah Bike Trail Cache (GC2B5B) you get to view Cannon Lake. Your 5th!

Good luck, and above all, HAVE FUN!
