This is a challenging multi-cache that will require you to brush up on your compass & map skills.

Collect clues at each cache location then put your compass skills to the test. It is recommended to have a map whether it be a state park, topo, or an online printed map. The final cache is a regular size ammo can. This cache will take you on a short hike on nice well maintained trails through Francis Slocum State Park.

If you are really stuck email me and I'll send you a clue to help you out. Please place the caches and all the components back in their hiding places exactly as you found them.

It was quite nice to be able to get a thumbs up on this one. I was at the park 6 times getting this one done! After not finding part 1 after 2 visits, I decided to see who else hadn't gotten it and saw my webcam partner (he gets to save my pic when I go traveling and find a webcam!), Mike Burnside, was also frustrated. So we teamed up. I really don't think I could have done this one without Mike and without some more hints from IMLost. Part 1 was very ingeneous and very frustrating for me. Part 2 was less frustrating, but still caused me some problems. At least I didn't have trouble with Part 3 and with figuring out what to do to find the cache. I also used an orienteering map of the park - which helped me to find the cache. Thanks (I think!) for the cache. I took a bicycle chain keychain for a bicycling friend, and left a toy kalaidoscope.

Finally!!! Well, I finally made it to the end of this one. I have to admit that the first part of this one had me so stumped and frustrated that I didn't even want to go back for it. LOL OK...not really, but I was very frustrated with it. When I found it at last I was very upset for myself for not being able to find it the very first day.
I went last week and found the first three parts, but it was getting late and Quinn didn't want to look for the last part with me. When I got up today, it was just too nice a day not to go so I grabbed my bag and my girlfriend and we headed back to the park. I had an idea where the cache was and am happy to say that I was only about 100 feet off the mark. It did take some looking though, and my girlfriend wandered off and I lost her at one point, but we found it in great shape.
I took the microcache container (look for a new cache soon) and she took one of Rich's magnets. We left a lizard, a TrustyLizard window decal and the Rat Fink TB. I hope he doesn't sit too long in the cache waiting for someone else to get there. LOL
You really did a great job hiding the initial caches and this part of the park is especially nice. Thanks for a great hide and a great time.
Until next time...

Trusty

Found it!! Thanks for a fun hunt around a pretty part of the park. It took me two days but I finished it today in 18 degree temps, note to self- take gloves next time it is below 30! Grabbed the TB and left a leprechaun for St Patrick's Day.

Add me to the "didn't find part 1" group! After reading some of the logs, I figured this was going to be a multi-day cache in addition to a multi-stage cache! Email on the way begging for a hint! I think I passed a geocaching family when I was on the way out - a vehicle looked like some sort of geo sticker on it as I drove off.
